I would recommend SKA Adventures to everyone planning a trek to Nepal!!! We did the Langtang Valley trek with SKA Adventures in Fall 2025 and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our organizer, Tsering, was amazing — so organized, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about our experience. He made sure we were well-prepared with clear itineraries, packing tips, pre-departure gear checks and great communication throughout. Our guides were fantastic — friendly, attentive, and professional. The porters were equally amazing: strong, cheerful, and so kind. What really stood out was how everyone on the team was treated as equals. There was no hierarchy — just a group of people working together with heart and respect. When a monsoon hit during our trek, the team handled it with complete professionalism, putting safety first and quickly adjusting our plans without ever losing their positivity. This company truly values people and integrity, and it shows in everything they do. We finished the trek not just with great memories, but with friends for life. I highly recommend SKA Adventures!

We had an incredible experience with the team at SKA, and couldn't have been more satisfied with our LANGTANG VALLEY TREK experience. We were so well supported and looked after throughout every part of the trek, in addition to our time in Kathmandu. We are very grateful to the team: Tsering & Nima, our amazing guides Bil & Durjee, and of course our friends/porters Amrit & Robin. In addition to being extremely well organized and competent, their confidence and support made all the challenges of travel and high altitude trekking feel completely doable and enjoyable! It was a beautiful adventure. I would choose SKA again & again to explore the different trekking routes in Nepal.

I cannot recommend SKA Adventures enough! We were a group of 5 trekkers on the Langtang trek for 8 days with SKA in Sept/Oct 2025. Our guides, porters, drivers, and support staff in Kathmandu were generous, kind and extremely professional, arranging every detail we could have imagined. We experienced a significant weather event on our trek, resulting in landslides, road and trail closures, but the SKA team responded quickly and effectively to ensure our safety and well-being and to anticipate any hiccups. They also reached out to our family members abroad to provide reassurance during this stressful time. They were able to provide advice on trekking gear, altitude medications, hotel reservations, tourist destinations in Kathmandu. They assisted us with our visa preparation, park passes, everything! Tsering and Nema (SKA staff), Bill and Dorjee (guides) and Robin and Amrit (porters) were also just a lot of fun to spend time with, and we spent lots of hours talking, singing, laughing and enjoying meeting these truly wonderful Nepali people. More than just a mountain trek, being immersed in the culture and traditions of Nepal was a delight due to the careful work of SKA.

Unforgettable 16-Day Trek with SKA – Tailored, Caring, and Culturally Rich I had an incredible experience on the 16-day trek with SKA. What made this journey truly special was the kind and attentive care of my guide, Bill. When I came down with a cold, he adjusted the pace with such gentle consideration, allowing me to recover without ever feeling rushed or pressured. The trek was beautifully tailored, with carefully chosen tea houses that offered not only comfort but also stunning views of the Himalayas. The local food was fresh and delicious, a welcome reward after each day’s hike. Bill’s deep knowledge and passion for the region added a rich layer to the experience—he patiently answered all my questions about local culture, geography, religion, and even herbal medicine. His insights brought the landscape and its people to life in such a meaningful way. Trekking off-season was a bit of a gamble, but it paid off—we had dry weather after the initial two days in the lower hills and were lucky to share the trails with very few other trekkers. This made our visits to Lake Tilicho and the Thorong La Pass feel wonderfully peaceful and intimate. Combining the Annapurna Circuit with the Poon Hill trek was a brilliant decision. It gave us a gentler landing after the physical challenge of the high peaks and allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning diversity of the region’s landscapes. Highly recommend SKA and Bill for anyone looking for a thoughtful, enriching, and well-organized trekking experience in Nepal

What an incredible experience with the most amazing guide and expedition company. A magical experience from start to finish. We felt completely at ease with SKA, providing us with all the information we needed. Excellent airport pick up and drop of service. Top quality cap and T shirt to take home with us to always remember our special trip. Everything was organised quickly and efficiently even when plans changed due to external circumstances. It felt like we were part of the SKA family from the strat of our trip. Our guide was brilliant, we would not have successfully completed our goal without him. We feel so lucky to have experienced this beautiful country with SKA, I would highly recommend them to anyone taking in an expedition in Nepal.
